Dynamic Modelling Methods in Space and Time
Dual Track: usage of the "dual language concept" in spatio-temporal modelling. The increasing complexity of the global information society calls for location-based methods of effective systems analysis and efficient decision support. For this purpose, the Research Studio iSpace develops dynamic modelling methods in the contextual dimensions of space and time and provides spatial indicators for analysis, planning, evaluation and communication.
In collaboration with partners such as the consulting and power supply corporations Verbundplan GmbH and Salzburg AG, Dual Track was developed with a focus on application-orientation, a method for sustainable support of decision-making processes by means of interactive, alternating use of the modelling and measuring planes.
Through innovative implementation of geo-intelligence, Dual Track creates sustainable competitive benefits in the infrastructure field, such as in energy and transport industries, as well as in urban and regional planning sectors.
