The Alphouse project aims to improve the competitiveness of regional SMEs by equipping them with knowledge, skills and tools that will enable them to renovate buildings typical of the Alpine region in top quality. The renovation should respect the highest energy efficiency standards while taking into account regional characteristics and local knowledge of Alpine architecture. The project will develop and implement qualification modules and a web-based information platform based on an analysis of the currently available knowledge on energy technologies and Alpine architecture. The target group of the project is not only the implementing craftsmen, but also planners and decision makers, who can give the impulse for a sustainable renovation of the building by means of regulations and laws.
Further training:
As part of the project, a module for planners and other interested parties on “Innovative tools for regional energy concepts” will also be developed and held at the Salzburg Lehrbauhof as part of the lecture series “Energy consulting and sustainability”.
