Spatial energy planning & sustainable mobility

At AGIT 2019, the leading symposium and exhibition for applied geoinformatics at the University of Salzburg, the Research Studio iSPACE of the RSA FG will be represented this year with no less than three joint projects or research focuses:

  • The AGIT Forum “Spatial Energy Planning 2019 plus” will take place on Wednesday, 3 July 2019 from 13:00 to 16:30. At this event with iSPACE researchers Manfred Mittlböck, Markus Biberacher and Ingrid Schardinger, the Salzburg Heat Atlas and the Local Heat App will be presented, among other things. The forum takes place in the context of the FFG project “Enerspired Cities” and the project “Spatial Energy Planning for Heat Transition”. Please register by 14 June 2019 at ingrid.schardinger@researchstudio.at. Your registration allows you a reduced rate access to the forum if you do not wish to attend the entire AGIT Symposium.
On Friday, 5 July 2019 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at AGIT there will be a workshop on Mobility Behaviour Changes as part of the Interreg project SaMBA – Sustainable Mobility Behaviours in the Alpine Region. The aim of this project is to promote changes in behaviour towards sustainable mobility behaviour by creating incentive systems. The use of geographical data also plays an important role in this context. The city of Salzburg and the Research Studio iSPACE of the RSA FG invite to the event.
