Mag. Dr. Ingrid Schardinger

Senior Researcher

“My work adds value because it is focused on objective fundamentals for a sustainable energy supply.”

Current research interests of Ingrid Schardinger are fundamentals for spatial energy planning: potentials, demand and infrastructure.

Ingrid Schardinger completed her master’s degree in Applied Geoinformatics at the University of Salzburg with the dissertation “Spatial Modeling and Optimization of Regional Energy Systems”. Her master’s thesis in 2007 was titled “Site Evaluation for Biogas Plants. GIS-based modeling of supply and demand potentials for biogas plants in the province of Tyrol”.
