Kick-off event for the lead project ULTIMOB on 14.11.2019 in Salzburg
The regional kick-off event for the new lead project “ULTIMOB – Ultimative Integrated Mobility“, in which the Research Studio iSPACE – Smart Settlement Systems is project partner, will take place on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 2 to 5 pm at the Hotel Imlauer & Bräu, Rainerstraße 12-14 in 5020 Salzburg. Invited are representatives from research, municipalities, federal states and authorities as well as mobility associations.
In the afternoon, they will find out what the project partners are planning with ULTIMOB and how other players can get involved. During the four-year project, mobility solutions that have been lacking so far will be developed, implemented, tested and evaluated in order to demonstrate during the project that the offers are practicable and effective in terms of the mobility turnaround. A special focus will be on the concept “MaaS – made in Austria” (Mobility as a Service).
ULTIMOB is a lead project of the BMVIT within the “Mobility of the Future” programme and is managed by tbw research and netwiss. The Research Studio iSPACE of the RSA FG is project partner. The Salzburg metropolitan area is one of four Austrian pilot regions of ULTIMOB besides the surroundings of Graz, the Tullnerfeld and the Ötztal.
