Digital Technology Lab

Building & Demonstrating Interactive, Immersive and Interconnective Technologies

Overview

The Digital Technology Lab at the Research Studios Austria provides a comprehensive collection of tools, devices, materials and installations, enabling the development and building of prototypical solutions and conduction of studies for evaluation and validation of technical developments.
The Digital Technology Lab, situated in the RSA FG facilities in Vienna, holds room for storage, assembly and experimentation for all members across the RSA FG studios.
It contains a full size flight simulator setup with a fully functional flightdeck for the development and experimentation with analysis of visual attention and cognitive load in cockpit environments and application scenarios.
Furthermore, it provides laboratory space for experimental installations, especially used for developments in augmented and mixed reality assistance systems.
