A recap on one year of AIMS5.0
The RSA FG studio SDIS in St. Pölten participates as a consortium member, work package leader and partner in the EU- and FFG funded project AIMS5.0, coordinated by Infineon Technologies AG. In the past year, it hosted two events to further the project’s efforts to enhance European digital sovereignty by integrating AI-enabled hardware and software components across the entire industrial value chain.
RSA FG researchers share their expertise at Summer School
For five days the upcoming talents in the STEM-sector met for a summer school on microelectronics in Italy. Chief scientific officer Markus Tauber and SDIS-researcher Yasin Ghafourian gave them an insight into their work.
One year ago: Spot on MozART at the Ars Electronica Festival
The Ars Electronica Festival for ‘Art, Technology and Society’ is starting again in Linz these days. Exactly one year ago, the ‘Spot on MozART’ project by Studio PCA and the Mozarteum University was represented there.
Research in
Research that matters.
We focus on the transfer of knowledge and technology from universities to markets, digital intelligence and future technologies. In six research studios, with research locations in Salzburg, Vienna and Linz, we have been operating as an agile, non-university research organisation since 2002.
WE DO RESEARCH ON…
Applied Spatial Indices
Intelligent building, redensification, living and mobility. Alternatives to the internal combustion engine for climate protection and a better quality of life.Data Analytics
Better forecasting and customer knowledge through predictive analytics, semantic technologies, AI and machine learning techniques.Attention Aware Systems
Competency-based learning and performance enhancement through eye tracking and augmented reality combined with multi-sensor data.Geoinformatics IoT
Better control of industrial processes through 4D geo-intelligence, i.e. spatio-temporal representations for the Internet of Things and Industry 4.0.Smart Energy Balances
Intelligent energy balances for electricity & heat in times of climate change. The contribution to a resource-saving energy supply.Social MicroLearning
New collaborative forms of learning, online and mobile. Granular microlearning, social and open learning as social sharing and dissemination processes.Smart Digital Industries & Services
Concepts of Industry 5.0, IoT & Edge technology for optimization and sustainability in industrial production and services.Newsposts

See for yourself the value-added work of our researchers in current and past project portfolios.
EDIT
EDIT (Evolving Data-Improved Therapy) aims to develop individualised therapies and data analyses by using a wide range of sensor and device data to create holistic models.
VAC (Virtual Aquaponics Assistent)
This project conducts research at the interface between “Generative Artificial Intelligence” (GenAI), “EdgeAI” and “Federated Learning” in the context of “Cyber-Physical Systems” and “IoT”.
Teachino
Teachino supports teachers with organising their lessons via an app. A project by the RSA FG’s SDIS studio aims to adapt the language model of the Teachino app so that it is an even bigger help in planning lessons.
WE WORK WITH THE BEST
Together with universities and companies, we bring digital innovations to the world. With our research, we support our partners from business and public administration in the digital transformation – #ResearchThatMatters.
