We offer different models for students, graduates or young researchers

Financial aid for research-oriented studies

Scholarships

You are working on a topic/field of interest for one of our Research Studios during your studies; you want to coordinate the content and/or methodology of your topic with the Research Studio. We will support you with funding of 500 to 600 euros/month (non-taxable research grant).

Research Career Scholarship

You would like to do a year of study in applied R&D with coaching plus additional training and also work on your project that is thematically and/or methodologically relevant to a Research Studio. We will support you with funding of 1,000 to 1,600 euros/month (non-taxable research grant).

Getting started in applied research

Internship

You want to gain professional experience in applied R&D and digital intelligence; At least 4-8 weeks, full cooperation in a project with a finalizable task, payment between 600,- and 800,- Euro/month.

Graduate students

You want to work on a project for 2 – 3 days/week during your studies and use the project insights in your thesis. Payment between 600 and 1,000 euros/month.

PhD/PraeDoc, w/m/d

You would like to work on a project for 2 – 3 days/week during your studies and use your project work and project publications for your dissertation, 25-30 hours/week working on projects, payment between 1,500 and 1,900 euros or, if suitably qualified, PraeDoc according to FWF rates

Career in research with the goal of professional development

You can continue or start your research career at the RSA FG either as a Researcher or Research Engineer.

Our Research Engineers can fully develop as developers, our Researchers in scientific work. Both models focus on applied research and transfer to markets. That is why we expect our Researchers and Research Engineers to work on and contribute to projects, while we focus on the skills of every single person individually.

Senior Researcher (w/m/d)

Full-time position, permanent contract, project management, management of large contract and EU projects including proposal writing and acquisition; salary: 3,200 to 4,200 euros, option for performance contract.

Senior Research Engineer (w/m/d)

Full-time position, permanent contract, project management, management of large contract and EU projects including proposal writing and acquisition; salary: 3,200 to 4,200 euros, option for performance contract.

Key Researcher (w/m/d)

Full-time position, open-ended employment contract, group management, project acquisition, applications, personnel responsibility, performance contract with additional performance-related pay; salary: from 4,200 euros, performance contract.

Key Research Engineer (w/m/d)
