“Running for Research” – under this motto, the RSA FG successfully took part in the Salzburg Business Run this year. Three researchers from the iSPACE research studio completed the 5.9-kilometre course through Salzburg’s old town in a total time of 01:12:43 and came in an excellent 9th place. Our employees were supported by the management and loyal fans along the course.
As in their research, our athletes also ambitiously pursued their goals in the run: The team “Route is recalculated…” reached 9th place out of 280 in the men’s ranking – we congratulate very much on this great result! Florian Schöpflin from Studio iSPACE Smart Settlement Systems finished in a time of 23:46 minutes. His colleagues Martin Santa Maria and Markus Biberacher from the Smart Energy Balances working group reached the finish line shortly after in 24:11 and 24:46 minutes respectively.
The communal run and the subsequent exchange offered a welcome break from the daily work routine. For the colleagues, it’s now back to their research: Markus Biberacher and Martin Santa Maria are working on a variety of projects in the field of efficient and sustainable energy systems. Florian Schöpflin is, among other things, in charge of the 5G MoBiS project, which uses 5G data for mobility planning.
