For three days, regional research took center stage at the FH St. Pölten during the E³UDRES² Science Festival “Local Pulse, Global Waves.” The SDIS team presented its Agrarsense and EDEN projects during a public demonstration walk.
The E³UDRES² European University Alliance is making 2025 the Year of Science Festivals at three locations in Europe. The Austrian edition of the festival, which took place on the St. Pölten campus and in downtown St. Pölten, was held under the motto “Local Pulse, Global Waves.”
Studio SDIS presented the EDEN and Agrarsense projects at the Science Fair, a public demonstration walk, under the heading “Reaching new heights with AI: Smart vertical indoor farming”.
Numerous interested guests from the public, students, and other researchers had the demonstrator explained to them, which the team had set up especially at the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences.
The European University Alliance E³UDRES², led by the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences, is a network of nine universities and many other associated organizations throughout Europe. Together as E³UDRES², the institutions promote the development of small and medium-sized cities and their rural surroundings into so-called “Smart and Sustainable Regions.” In addition, the universities jointly develop exciting teaching, learning, and research programs, facilitate exchanges throughout Europe, and work together with local companies and NGOs on real-world tasks from the region.
