Prof. Dr. Markus Tauber

Chief Scientific Officer for Digital Intelligence and Core Technologies

Markus Tauber joined RSA FG in 2021 as chief scientific officer with a focus on digital intelligence and core technologies. He is also a member of the scientific council of the INSIDE Industry Association and is a visiting Professor at the Department of Telecommunications and Media Informatics, in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Prior to that, he worked at the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland, where he established and managed the research center “Cloud & CPS Security” and the master program “Cloud Computing Engineering” and worked as FH-Professor on topics including “Cloud, IoT and Industry 4.0”.

Markus Tauber is engaged in international initiatives in the field of IT security, digitalization and artificial intelligence. He completed his PhD at the prestigious University of St Andrews where he was working on topics like “Cloud Storage Systems”.  He worked in international research projects at the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) in the area of “Cloud Security and IoT” and also in the last five years as FH-Professor at the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland.

At RSA FG, Markus Tauber’s focus as chief scientific officer is on digital intelligence and core technologies.
