Dr. Belal Abu Naim

Belal Abu Naim graduated from the University of Vienna with a doctorate in computer sciences/multimedia information systems. He has worked in research and teaching at the University of Vienna for several years. His research interests include multimedia content analysis, data graphs, Blockchain technology, recently I-IoT, edge computing, and industries 4.0/5.0. He has built vast practical experience in software design and implementation as a software developer for server and mobile applications and as a technical lead in the private sector. He has successfully completed many commercial and research projects. The scope of these projects diverts from small/intermediate-scale commercial projects to large-scale Governmental (FFG) and European Commission (EC) funded projects.
