We, the Research Studios Austria FG, would like to welcome you warmly to St. Pölten, Lower Austria. We are pleased that you will be attending the AIMS5.0 General Assembly May 16-17. The event will take place at the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten (FH St. Pölten). Below you will find information about the venue, how to get there and possible hotels in the vicinity.
The meeting will take place at the premises of our collaborating partner University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten (FH St. Pölten). The FH St. Pölten is located at Campus-Platz 1, 3100 St. Pölten. The sessions will take place in the large and small halls.

HOW TO GET THERE
… by plane
The nearest airport is Vienna International Airport, from which you can take a direct train or rent a car
… by train
The train station, St. Pölten Hbf, is served by frequent trains from Vienna International Airport, the Vienna main railway station (Wien Hauptbahnhof), and Wien Westbahnhof. The travel time is about half an hour. There are also direct international connections from Zurich, Budapest, Bratislava, Venice, and various cities in Germany, including Munich, Hamburg, Frankfurt am Main, and Berlin.
The event venue is just a 15-minute walk from St. Pölten Hbf, as shown in the attached map. After getting off your train, take the stairs at the eastern end of the arrival platform (near section A or B), then turn left, and then turn right when you emerge from the underpass. Walk for 100 metres, crossing one street; you will get to a bridge over a stream next to an Interspar supermarket. Turn left before crossing the bridge and follow the path beside the stream for 500 metres, crossing another road with a pedestrian signal. The path eventually terminates at a road, Heinrich-Schneidmadl-Straße. To your right will be a brown-orange building, in which you will find the RSA offices. Ahead of you to your left is the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences.

If you have a navigation system, you can enter the address of RSA’s offices: Heinrich-Schneidmadl-Straße 15, 3100 St. Pölten, Austria.
From Vienna International Airport, the journey takes about 80 minutes. If you don’t have a navigation system, take the A4 west towards Vienna and then change to the A1 west towards St. Pölten (see below).
From Vienna, the journey takes about 60 minutes. Take the A1 west towards St. Pölten. Take the exit Knoten St. Pölten onto the S33, then the exit St. Pölten Ost onto Purkersdorfer Straße/B1a. Bear right onto Purkersdorfer Straße. Turn right onto the B1, then left onto Willi-Gruber-Straße. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Westbahnallee and then turn right onto Eybnerstraße. Turn left onto Heinrich-Schneidmadl-Straße. About a hundred metres down the road are RSA’s offices (in the brown-orange building on the left) and the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences (on the right).
Parking is available at RSA’s offices.

Participation fee General Assembly 24: 190 € net amount (228 € incl. VAT in Austria)
The following is included in the participation fee:
- admission to all scientific sessions
- coffee breaks and lunches
- the social event on the evening of May 16 at the “Heuriger” Rendlkeller
PhD Workshop Dinner is optional an not included in the Participation fee: 23€ net amount (27,6 € incl. VAT in Austria).
After registration and payment you will receive the invoice via e-mail after a few days at the latest.
