iSPACE-Project 5G-MOBiS featured in DER STANDARD
iSPACE-Researcher Florian Schöpflin and Studio Director Thomas Prinz talked about their project "5G-Mobis" with the Austrian newspaper DER STANDARD. In a special feature about current research projects they showed how data from mobile networks was used in 5G-Mobis.
European Language Label for the TaTa-Books project
Outstanding projects were honoured at the national networking meeting in the field of Erasmus+ school education: three schools received the European Innovative Teaching Award 2024 and the European Language Label was awarded ten times. These included the Economica project Talking Tactile Books for Visually Impaired Children.

The global GIS Day aims to get young people interested in geoinformatics. Every year, schools also come to Science City Itzling, as the PLUS Department of Geoinformatics Z GIS and the iSPACE studios are several centres of excellence for geoinformatics. PLUS also organises the GIS Day for these two institutions every year. This allows young people to interactively experience various innovative applications from the world of GIS and research. This year, Caroline Atzl and Michael Andorfer from the Smart 4D Environments studio welcomed them to iSPACE and introduced them to the exciting world of geoinformatics.
