The goal of ActNow is to make the potential of active and sustainable mobility tangible for the individual, for companies, as well as for communities and planning. Through the possibilities offered by ICT the areas of commuting mobility accompanying routes for children, health promotion and environmental impact are to be brought together in order to make an important contribution to the promotion of active personal mobility.

Project Benefits

ActNow generates both operational and economic benefits that have already been quantified in ActNow’s preliminary projects. Nationally and internationally digital tools are being developed for the first time that show the potential for active mobility on the way to work, communicate alternatives and optimization options to employees for their everyday journeys, and raise awareness of the effect of one’s own mobility behavior on the environment and on one’s own health or, if applicable, the health of one’s children.

RSA FG iSPACE as the project partner continues to develop tools and concepts from previous projects in order to not only support companies and employees, but also planners and decision-makers with an evidence-based tool for planning and implementing active commuting through multimodal, health-promoting offers and infrastructures
