Stop 4.0

01.06.2018 – 31.12.2020

The Stop 4.0 project is about the construction of a transport hub of the future as a physical and digital laboratory environment and test room for innovative new developments using a real infrastructure. The overall goal is to use the Stop 4.0 to make stops and their surroundings more attractive and better adapted to regional environments and potentials. Project inquiries for testing new types of information services as well as technical infrastructure will also be supported. The aim of the stop 4.0 is to create a kind of laboratory environment for the regional traffic junction Neumarkt-Köstendorf. The focus is particularly on the networking of physical and digital mobility in order to be able to test future-oriented technologies, provide user information and support impact monitoring and mobility management.
