Almregion
The alpine pasture areas in the Alps are undergoing a dramatic change! A centuries-old cultural landscape, which would deserve the title “World Cultural Heritage”, is at the mercy of a radical change, which – without appropriate control measures – will irretrievably change the most attractive areas in the Alpine region. The aim of the project is to document the structural change of the alpine pasture landscape and to work out solutions for its preservation, especially taking into account new forms of use and its importance for summer and winter tourism.
